With 20 years of experience in luxury residential and commercial interior design, Christa Lipinski, founder of Curious Lines, brings a depth of knowledge, creativity, and perspective to every project. Christa earned her BFA in Interior Design in 2008, building a strong foundation in design principles, space planning, materials, and the technical aspects of creating thoughtfully considered interiors.
Her passion for design began long before Curious Lines. While still in high school, Christa founded a successful floral design and event company, cultivating a lifelong appreciation for flowers, entertaining, styling, and the art of creating memorable environments. Over the years, her work has been published in several major publications and featured in numerous online editorial articles, further reflecting her distinctive eye and creative approach. This background continues to influence her interior design work today, bringing an instinctive understanding of composition, color, scale, texture, and the finishing details that transform a house into a home.
Throughout her career, Christa and her team have had the privilege of working on award-winning projects ranging from custom ground-up residences and full-scale remodels to thoughtfully curated vacation homes, secondary residences, vacation rentals, and commercial spaces throughout coastal Southern Orange County. This breadth of experience allows Curious Lines to approach each project with both a creative vision and a practical understanding of the many details involved in bringing a design to life.
We believe great design is not about creating a home that looks like everyone else’s—it’s about creating a space that reflects the people who live there. Our approach is intentionally flexible, allowing us to work comfortably across a wide range of aesthetics, from timeless and traditional to contemporary, coastal, transitional, and more eclectic styles. We take the time to understand each client’s personal taste, how they live, what they value, and how they want their home to feel, then translate those insights into a design that is uniquely theirs.
Design Expertise, Without the Overwhelm
At the heart of Curious Lines is a commitment to exceptional client service. We understand that designing or renovating a home is a significant investment and can quickly become overwhelming with countless decisions, moving pieces, and details to manage. Our role is to make the process feel easier, more organized, and genuinely enjoyable.
We guide our clients through every phase of the project with clear communication, thoughtful recommendations, meticulous attention to detail, and a collaborative approach. From the initial concept through construction, procurement, installation, and the final finishing touches, we advocate for our clients, anticipate needs, solve problems, and manage the details that keep a project moving forward.
Because design is our expertise, our clients don't have to navigate every decision alone. We help bring clarity to the process, offer a trusted point of view, and thoughtfully narrow the choices so that decisions feel confident rather than overwhelming. The result is not only a beautifully designed home, but an experience that feels personal, seamless, and well cared for from beginning to end.
Ultimately, our goal is to create spaces that feel considered, elevated, comfortable, and distinctly personal—homes that are beautiful to look at, wonderful to live in, and reflective of the people who call them home.
Curious Lines is where thoughtful design, creative perspective, and personalized service come together to create homes with lasting character.
